Caroline Jones, Director

I’m Caroline Jones and Director of PCC Events. I have lived and breathed the hospitality industry for 27 years and have loved every minute of it. (Well OK, almost every minute!).  I will be your main point of contact and will personally ensure that your event runs seamlessly.

What I enjoy most about what I do is getting to know my clients and what they need. We effectively become a part of your team as we work closely with you for anywhere up to 18 months.  We get to learn about your organisation and industry which I find personally fascinating. It takes me out of my own bubble and allows me to become involved in multiple industries and disciplines which I’ve discovered has benefits for the people we work with as we can use our industry contacts to put our clients in touch with each other and start a useful collaboration.

In the end it comes down to being able to create a truly unique event which our clients can be  proud to say they hosted.

A Little Background on Caroline

My first job was as a pot washer in the ANZ Bank’s staff canteen in North Sydney. Not glamorous by any means! I spent 3 years in catering in corporate kitchens as Assistant Manager and Manager when I decided that cooking wasn’t my calling and moved into hotels where I recieved a thorough grounding in customer service, hotel operations and hard work.

I worked as a Restaurant Manager with the Sebel Town House in it’s hey day, serving celebrities such as Elton John, Phyllis Diller, Germaine Jackson, Joan  Armatrading to name a few. From there I moved on to Conference Manager, Banquet Operations Manager, Banquet Sales Manager and then into Sales & Marketing in various hotel chains.

I decided to go into business for myself so I could provide a service for my clients that I could be proud of and provide a company that they prefer to work with. I still feel that way today. I love what I do, and I love my clients. I feel priveledged to be intimately involved with each client’s business.

Debbie Coetzee, Event Manager

I’m Debbie Coetzee and I’m an Event Manager at PCC Events. I have been part of this roller-coaster events industry for over 25 years.

What I really enjoy about what I do is working with such a variety of people and being allowed a glimpse into their worlds. It is truly satisfying to piece together what seems like a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle over the course of a year and watch it all come together as one amazing event. Our clients get the accolades and we are proud to have supported them.
